In case you just got your Samsung Continuum, then there is some good “rooty” news for you. You can now root Samsung Continuum with a single click courtesy of Z4Root app. Rooting Android devices actually empowers your device to perform function that are limited by manufacturers for reasons best known to them. Also rooting gives you the privilege on installing custom ROMs on your handset.

Here is the step by step guide on rooting Samsung Continuum:

Please note the z4Root is no longer available in the market. So, we will follow a manual .apk install approach for this procedure.

1. The first step is to download Z4Root.apk file from here and save it on desktop.

2. Once done, connect your phone to the computer and mount SD card.

3. Once your SD card is mounted, copy the downloaded Z4root APK file to SD card root.

4. Now launch Market on your phone and download Astro File Manager.

5. After the download is complete, launch Astro File Manager and follow onscreen instructions to install .APK file.

6. Close the file manager after APK installation is complete and launch Z4Root app from home screen.

7. Once done, tap on the root button in center of the application screen.

8. Now rooting procedure will begin so wait for it to complete.

And there you go! Your Samsung Continuum now stands rooted.

Please note that rooting voids warranty and can brick your device. Proceed at your own risk!
